My role in Beany is to support the admin team. I work in a non traditional way from wherever I want to be on the planet. I definitely like to go beyond the walls of limitation set by an old-fashioned system and utilize technology where anyone can work from anywhere.

I really enjoy working with some of the more technical parts of the tax administration. It’s demanding work and I like to be able to explain it to our clients and make sure they are fully up to date.

I’m a qualified Financial Accountant with several years of accounting experience in South Africa. After travelling the world working on cruise ships I’ve settled in Taupō and am loving the New Zealand work life balance. I’m very efficient and love working with our clients to help them be as efficient as possible.

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant a million years ago in the UK and then again here in NZ.  I saw that existing accountants charged a lot and I wanted to develop an online accounting service that offered that combo of excellent service, great people and transparency in fees. I want to be part of helping New Zealand to develop its business prosperity, that’s why I started Beany.

I’ve got 5 children and have been a Chartered Accountant for 25 years. So I’m super organised and I love being able to share my skills with my clients because not everybody gets as much of a kick out of accounting as I do. Finding a clever tax solution is a real rush for me.

I used to run Huka Lodge and, before that, have started and run many businesses with my wife Sue. Some of them were better ideas than others, but I learnt a lot on the way from youthful exuberance to a more mature view of business. Now I love to listen to people’s accounting problems and work out how we can help them.

I’ve had 23 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience and I jumped onto the Xero platform as soon as I saw it.  I work on the helpdesk and deal with every kind of accounting, tax and Xero query that comes in. It’s super busy, but I’m used to that, being a mother to energetic boys and I love the challenge of helping every single person as fast as we can.

I’ve run a number of disruptive and very successful businesses over my business life, including Photopost, which was the first company to do mail order photos.  I’m entrepreneurial, love doing stuff outdoors and providing a great client experience. In Beany, I work with you to understand what your business needs are and how we can help.

I have a Masters degree in Chemistry, but then decided I wanted to be an accountant so qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst raising my 4 children. I talk a lot and enjoy working with clients to find out what they need and how we can help them.  I have a lot of clients working in the health, exercise and well being area because I’m a multisporter myself.

I’m a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 14 years experience at PWC prior to coming to Beany. I’ve worked with a lot of different kinds of business although I really like the ag sector, coming from that background myself. I take getting it right for you very seriously and making sure you are in the best tax position possible.

I live and work in the Waikato with my husband, raising our children and enjoying life in the ‘Tron. I worked in one of the Big 4 for 20 years and then hopped into the Beany way of helping clients and I love it. I can give so much advice working for Beany and love the freedom to help all my clients here. It’s my mission to keep you safe from the IRD and save as much tax as possible.

I’m the Ambassador Of Happy for Beany. It’s my job to welcome everyone aboard and make sure they understand how Beany works and where they can get help, if they need it.  My background is in yoga teaching and tourism as I used to own a backpacker lodge so I do have a good knowledge of what it’s like to be a business owner.

I’ve spent my working life in client support roles and, for me, it’s problem solving and making sure I’ve connected people to the right solution which is the part I love. I’m a bit of a tech nerd and also work with my partner Fred in his construction business so understand a lot of the issues for Tradies and business owners.

I’ve contracted as a software engineer everywhere from horticultural research to the Lord of the Rings movies. Having been the client of other accountants for years I immediately understood how we could improve the client experience with great tech. I wanted to make the experience quicker and easier for people just like me.

I’m a software engineer with a passion for speed golf. I think I’m quite a pragmatist about finding great solutions for Beany and ultimately the clients of Beany. I want technology to make life more satisfying for everyone.

I’m originally a Whangarei girl and qualified over 10 years ago as a Chartered Accountant. I worked for TVNZ, helping them with the numbers across a lot of different business units. I’ve carried this passion across into Beany where I really enjoy talking to people about what their numbers mean and working on automating some of the business metrics people need to know.

I’m a Chartered Accountant with 14 years of experience, particularly in the Ag sector. I’m basically a farmgirl in high heels.  I’m a maniac at Crossfit with my husband and we’re kept pretty busy with our 3 boys. I’m the kind of accountant who gives everything to my clients and I don’t hold back.
